On this page you will find prices for the main types of treatment that I offer - short (20-minute) rehab and strengthening sessions, senior rehab, online self care, and hands on clinical massage.

Get Moving, Get Stronger

We all have times in our lives when we haven’t moved properly for a while, and maybe don’t have the energy to get started again. It all seems overwhelming, and we resign ourselves to reduced movement, reduced strength, and reduced energy.

Whether you are a senior who is prone to falling, you are recovering from illness, injury or an operation, or your life is simply getting in the way of your good health, this simple package could be for you.

We will start with a proper consultation - work out where you are at, and where you would like to be. And then we will go about getting there, slowly and steadily.

All it takes is a 20 minute session (approximately) each week. We will learn some simple exercises, and run through them together. You then practice the exercises each day (about 5-10 minutes a day, that’s all), and as the weeks progress, we will add new exercises, or develop the existing ones so they work even better. Over time we will build a routine of 4-6 exercises that you can do each day (or at least several times a week).

If you prefer the ongoing support of someone working through the exercises with you each week, then we carry on with weekly sessions. Otherwise, once you are happy with the set of exercises we have devised together, it’s over to you - but I am always available for an update session if you need it.

Get moving, get stronger: £30 per session (recommended at least 6-8 sessions to start).

Senior rehab and adapted massage

Very similar to the ‘Get Moving, Get Stronger’ offering, senior rehab and adapted massage simply adds another element into the mix.

Specifically designed for older people, these are short sessions (20-25 minutes), which may include gentle massage and simple movement and strengthening exercises.

Sessions will be adapted to work with your personal comfort level and ability to move. Massage will be in-chair (or on the bed if you are bed-bound). We can work with oedema, stiff and creaky joints, achy backs and more. You let me know what is troubling you, and we will work together to help ease things.

Be warned, I will give you homework! Nothing taxing, just a couple of very simple movement exercises to try each day, which will help your movement to get easier, and any pains to reduce.

We can work together just for a few weeks, or carry on for longer - let’s find out what works best for you.

Senior rehab: £30 per session (recommended at least 6-8 sessions initially).

Care homes: please contact me to arrange block bookings, i.e. a three hour block during which 6 residents can book individual sessions.

Online self care

A short series of 5-6 weekly online sessions can have a significant impact on reducing chronic pain or improving mobility (increasing your range of movement). It is perfect if you would have difficulties travelling, or are self isolating.

The Online Self Care package starts with a full consultation session followed by a series of further sessions where we work together on your self care plan. Each session should last 30-45 minutes each, and can take place on zoom, facetime, or other video call.

At the end of each session you will be given homework! This may be 2-3 stretches, a breathing exercise, or even keeping a diary of how your routine feels each day.

I am currently offering a self care package of five sessions for £150, with additional follow up sessions available at £35 each if desired.

Hands on treatments

Hands-on treatments are tailored to suit your needs - your mobility, your level of comfort, and the specific issues you would like to address (increased mobility, reducing pain, etc).

Your massage treatment is in three stages:

  • Consultation - this can be booked in the day before your massage on zoom, or in person on the day of your massage. The consultation may take 15-30 minutes depending on your requirements, and can take place in person, over zoom (facetime, etc) or over the phone. During this we will go through your medical history, identify the issues you are experiencing, and create a treatment plan for our hands-on sessions.

  • Hands-on - pending the length of the consultation, this will be 45-50 minutes.

  • After-care - after your massage, we will go through a couple of stretches / mobilisations / breathing exercises that you can practice daily to increase the benefits of your hands on session and reach your goals to reduce stress / reduce pain / increase your mobility. This could also happen a day or two after your session over zoom, if you are pressed for time on the day.

Even with the new look 3-part massage session, I strongly recommend booking a series of treatments for a lasting benefit. Whether you have long term problems, or want to address a recent injury, we can work on it together.
One session will make you feel wonderful, but the pain or restricted movement will come back in a few days.
With a series of six sessions you should feel a significant reduction in pain / increase in mobility, and the benefits will last. Continue the self care techniques which we will develop together, and you will maintain those improvements. Isn’t that worth an investment of your time?
